Apple releases iOS 9.3.3, OS X 10.11.6, and tvOS 9.2.2 betas; 9.7-inch iPad Pro left out

After a long beta cycle of what amounted to a security and bug fix update from iOS 9.3.2, OS X 10.11.5, watchOS 2.2.1, and tvOS 9.2.1, you may have been hoping for something more significant from the next round. Sadly, there's no such luck.

Today, Apple released its first iOS 9.3.3, OS X 10.11.6, and tvOS 9.2.2 betas to developers. There is currently no news about a new watchOS or Xcode beta, which would typically be seeded alongside the others.

The news comes days after reports that the firm has removed the former iOS update for the 9.7" iPad Pro, after reports of Error 56 rendering the device useless. While the iOS 9.3.2 image is still unavailable for Apple's latest tablet, interestingly, there is also no iOS 9.3.3 beta image for the device.

For iOS 9.3.3 beta, the known issues listed are exactly the same as the ones we saw for its predecessor, which is that iCloud Photo Library won't work in the simulator and that there may be duplicate dictionaries when upgrading to an iOS 9 GM seed.

OS X 10.11.6, like its predecessor, doesn't list any fixes, known issues, or anything else specific to this build. It does, however, list the new build number as 15G7a.

The tvOS 9.2.2 beta promises bug fixes and security improvements. It also states that there are exactly zero known issues in this build.

At this point, we're only a few weeks away from WWDC, where Apple is expected to talk about the next major versions of its OS, including iOS 10, OS X 10.12 (or macOS 10.12), watchOS 3, and tvOS 10. If you're looking for cool new features, you're likely going to be waiting until then.
