Hands On with Apple Music

Earlier this month, Apple announced its new 'revolutionary music service', Apple Music. Today, millions of iOS devices owners will get their first experience with the new service and explore the much advertised 'Beats 1' radio.

'Apple Music' required an update to iOS 8.4. The update was available promptly at 8am PST and downloaded in a matter of minutes. Once the download was complete, it rebooted the phone and began the installation process. Upon rebooting, the Apple Music icon was available and ready for use.

Currently, Apple is offering users a three month free trial period. After the three months, Apple will charge users $9.99 a month for a single user account and $14.99 USD for a family plan that can accommodate six users. We will update the site with impressions once we have spent a little more time with the service.
