Hands on with Microsoft's OneClip apps

Earlier today, a new app from Microsoft was uncovered called OneClip and now that I have had a chance to get my hands on it, here is a closer look at the new tool.

OneClip is a universal clipboard for all devices: Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Windows 10. If you have the app running on your device and you copy it to the clipboard, it will then be accessible on any other device running the app. Frankly, this is quite useful and is one of the more exciting apps to leak in the past few days from the Redmond based company.

Take a look at the video below to see how it all works.

To pair the apps, on each device you will have to enter a randomly generated number and once done, the device will sync the content. I did not have to sign into my OneDrive account; simply enter the digits and the devices instantly were paired.

We tried the tool out with iOS and Windows to show how the tool bridges the gap between platforms and works quickly too; if you want to see a closer look at the Windows app, there is a gallery here.
