Samsung Galaxy S7 unboxing and first impressions

A few weeks ago, Samsung formally announced the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, the next iteration of its flagship Galaxy S line of devices.

The device comes in a couple different flavors. Scattered throughout the world are variants with Qualcomm's latest quad core Snapdragon 820 and some with Samsung's own octa-core Exynos 8890.

The US models use the Qualcomm chipset, which is exciting. After all, Qualcomm's 2015 offerings were unimpressive. Given the significant foothold that Qualcomm has gained in the mobile chipset market, it will be interesting to see if the Snapdragon 820 will reestablish credibility in the firm's brand.

This is our unboxing of the AT&T model of the Samsung Galaxy S7:

Note that this is the unboxing for the Samsung Galaxy S7, not the Galaxy S7 edge. We will be reviewing the S7 edge, but that will be done by our own Timi Cantisano.
