Samsung may be introducing its Galaxy S6 for the first time at CES 2015 in Las Vegas, new rumours suggest.
The Galaxy S6 is rumored to be first unveiled between January 6th and January 9th (during CES 2015) and the smartphone may include an Exynos 7420 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM, a 5.5 inch Quad-HD display and 32GB of internal storage. The Galaxy S6 looks to take very good pictures indeed, with a rumored 20 megapixel rear sensor and a five megapixel one on the front - for those super-high quality Facebook selfies.
Samsung usually releases its Galaxy S smartphones between February and May but they may be looking to get ahead of other manufacturers such as HTC and LG in releasing their new flagship in January.
The company may only be releasing a few high-end phones in 2015, after announcing their intention to scale back phone production significantly. It certainly has not been the best of years for Samsung, with sales down somewhat in 2014 and it is likely looking to regain lost ground. The Galaxy S6 looks to be the phone that may just do that, if the rumoured specs come to fruition.
Samsung has not confirmed the existence of the Galaxy S6 and if so, when it will be unveiled.
