BIO-key launches three new Windows Hello compatible devices

Windows Hello is a security feature that was debuted as part of Windows 10 back in July. The service was designed to swiftly log you into your device using facial recognition, fingerprint reading, and iris scanning without the need for passwords.

Initially, only a select few manufactures utilized Intel’s RealSense technology into their hardware when Windows 10 was released; however, if your device did not support this feature, you could either purchase one of Intel's RealSense cameras, or use any existing fingerprint reader or iris scanner compatible device.

Fast-forward fourteen months since the debut of Windows 10. Microsoft has announced three Windows Hello compatible peripherals from BIO-key International Inc. that are available at Microsoft Stores as well as microsoftstore.com. These devices include three different USB fingerprint readers that ultimately achieve the same result but offer slightly different means of scanning fingerprints.

Check out the hardware below:

BIO-Key SideSwipe Mini Fingerprint Reader - $39.99

EcoID Fingerprint Reader - $39.99
