6sec for Windows Phone updated with refreshed UI, sort options and more

For Windows Phone users, not having frequently updated first-party apps or an official app altogether is a way of life. Luckily, talented developers have stepped up in an effort to fill the void with one of those developers being Rudy Huyn. Huyn is recognized most for developing 6tag, an unofficial Instagram app. Interestingly, his app predates the official Instagram app for Windows Phone and is also regarded by the community as the better of the two. Today, Huyn has announced an update to one of his other apps, 6sec, which is the unofficial version of Vine for Windows Phone.

The new update will bring a completely refreshed UI along with the ability to select videos from your phone. Previously, 6sec was only able to capture videos that were recorded within the app. Lastly, users will now have an option to sort videos by popularity, date and more. Be sure to head to the Windows Store to download the latest version.
