After months of rumors, and just a few weeks after it was formally announced, Apple Music will finally launch this week, along with the company's new 'Beats 1' worldwide radio station, and details have now been revealed on how the launch will proceed.
As MacRumors reports, Ian Rogers (formerly CEO of Beats Music, now senior director of Apple Music) published a blog post which included various bits of info, some of which have since been removed.
At 0800 PT / 1100 ET / 1500 GMT, Apple will release iOS 8.4, the latest non-preview version of the OS which will give users access to the "revolutionary" Apple Music streaming service. One hour later, Beats 1 will go live, streaming around the world, with launch day guests including Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Pharrell and Dr Dre.
Apple's Eddy Cue has also said that a new release of iOS 9 will be rolled out to enable Apple Music support for those who have been testing the beta releases of its next OS version.
