Doom Eternal is now available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia

The Doom Slayer has returned. id Software's Doom Eternal is now out and available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia. Players on the conventional platforms will find their pre-loads have now unlocked, while those on Stadia can just spin up the game to begin playing.

Instead of Mars, this new adventure has the Doom Slayer taking his fight to Earth, as Hell's armies have invaded the planet. This time some of heaven's forces are involved in the storyline too. In addition to the single-player offering, the entry also comes with an asymmetrical multiplayer one versus two game mode where the Doom Slayer is pitted against two demons to find out which side can become the victor.

The very detailed system requirements that were released recently can be seen over here. Both AMD and Nvidia have released new graphics drivers with optimizations for the game as well, which are recommended for anyone that's jumping into the action on PC with any of the companies' graphics cards.

Doom Eternal can now be purchased for $59.99 on Steam and Bethesda.net for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia. There is a Nintendo Switch version incoming as well, but it does not yet have a release date attached to it.
