Microsoft is still working to quickly address 'Surface' power management issues

A few days ago, Microsoft rolled out a much anticipated update for its Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book. Unfortunately, the update was a bit of a disappointment as it did not include the much coveted fix for the ongoing sleep issues reported in both the 'Pro 4' and 'Book'.

While Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book owners anxiously await the proper fix, Microsoft has now chimed in on its own forums, giving affected users an update on the ongoing scenario.

We know some of you are still experiencing issues, including issues related to power management, and we are working to address those as quickly as possible. We’ll publish additional updates as soon as they are ready.

Unfortunately, Microsoft has not given a timeline of when this fix will actually arrive. Instead, users will have to be patient and hope that the fix arrives soon. Fortunately, if you are willing to be a bit adventurous, you can download an updated driver from Intel, that is reported to fix the sleep / power management issue.
