Earlier this year, gaming hardware maker Razer acquired smartphone maker Nextbit for an undisclosed amount of money. It was revealed that Nextbit would continue to provide support for its products for six months since the acquisition, and now the company has reconfirmed that official support channels will cease to exist on July 31.
According to a tweet sent by Nextbit's official Twitter handle, the company will be ending telephone and chat-based support for its Robin smartphone by the end of this month.
Hey Rebels. As announced earlier this year, phone and chat support for Robin end 7/31. Outstanding RMAs will be handled by email after that.

Post-acquisition, Razer said that it would continue to provide software updates for the Nextbit Robin till February 2018, and the device was recently updated to Android 7.1.1 Nougat. However, it is uncertain whether the next major Android update would be delivered to the device.
The Nextbit Robin is currently selling for $129.99 on Amazon, but with its support ending soon the device could become even cheaper in the near future.
