Samsung working on three different Galaxy S21 models

Samsung Galaxy S10+

Samsung is yet to launch the Galaxy Note20 series but leaks and rumors surrounding the Galaxy S21, its 2021 flagship lineup, have already started making their way to the internet. As per SamMobile's sources, Samsung intends to launch three different variants of the Galaxy S21 in 2021. This should not be surprising since Samsung followed a similar strategy with the Galaxy S20 this year after first debuting it with the Galaxy S10 lineup last year.

The report suggests that Samsung is developing three models of the Galaxy S21 with 5G which carry the model numbers SM-G991, GM-G996, and SM-G998. If the Galaxy S20 lineup was anything to go by, this means we should once again be getting the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Samsung is currently developing these phones with 128GB and 256GB of storage space, though there could be additional models with more storage space.

It is unclear what improvements and changes Samsung intends to make with its Galaxy S21 lineup next year. Sales of the Galaxy S20 lineup have been below expectations due to its camera and performance issues as well as the ongoing pandemic that has considerably reduced consumer spending.

Before the Galaxy S21 arrives though, Samsung is scheduled to announce its next Note lineup -- the Galaxy Note20 -- at a virtual Unpacked event on August 5th.
