Spider-Man shown off at E3 2017, won't be coming until 2018

Spider-Man was shown off today as a PlayStation exclusive and quite honestly, it looked phenomenal. But, while we got a glimpse of the forthcoming game, the title won't arrive to console until 2018.

In the trailer, Spider-Man is shown navigating various environments in the city and looks to play similar to the Batman: Arkham series. While it's tough to say how the controls will feel, things look very smooth in the trailer, with the character battling it out with multiple foes without issue. The trailers also showed off the web slinger's ability to shoot through the city and chase after his opponents, even going so far as to save innocent bystanders from falling debris.

While it all looks exciting, sadly, there will be quite a wait involved, with the game arriving sometime in 2018.
