Xiaomi today announced the Redmi Note 9S for global markets. This is the same phone that the company launched a couple of weeks ago in India as the Redmi Note 9 Pro. Apart from the naming change, the Redmi Note 9 Pro and the Redmi Note 9S are the same phones.
The phone features a 6.67-inch FHD+ punch-hole LCD display which Xiaomi is calling as the Dot Display. The display has a rated brightness of 450-nit and is HDR10 certified. The device has a 91% screen-to-body ratio and uses 3D curved Gorilla Glass 5 panels at the front and back. It also features Xiaomi's new Aura Balance design and a splash-resistant nano-coating.

Interestingly, while the Redmi Note 9S supports 18W fast charging, Xiaomi will be bundling a 22.5W fast charger with the device. The phone will be available in three colors: Glacier White, Aurora Blue, and Interstellar Grey.
Xiaomi did not provide any information about the pricing and availability of the Redmi Note 9S for Europe.
Mi Smart Compact Projector and Handheld Vacuum Cleaner 1C
Alongside the Redmi Note 9S, Xiaomi also announced the Mi Smart Compact Projector. With a four-channel LED and 500 ANSI lumens brightness, the projector is able to output content in 1080p with an adjustable screen size of 60"-120". The projector runs on Android TV 9.0 and has Google Assistant integration.
Additionally, the company also launched the Mi Handheld Vacuum Cleaner 1C. This is a portable and cord-free vacuum cleaner featuring a 120AW suction and a 5-step filtration process. It offers up to 60 minutes of run time on a single charge and comes with 4 cleaning tools.
The Mi Smart Compact Project is priced at €599,99, while the handheld vacuum cleaner is priced at €199. These products will be available through Mi.com and Amazon.
