Chris Pirillo has posted on todays Windows Daily about 2 bugs that are currently affecting The Slide Show wizard & Timershot (part of the XP Powertoys set) We will keep you updated when Microsoft decide to update these errors that people are getting.
Here is a blurb from Chris: "I've got a little warning for those of you who downloaded the new XP PowerToys yesterday. Seems as though two of them aren't working properly.
The Slide Show wizard and Timershot applications could (inadvertently) delete files from the source directory. I'd imagine that the programming team has been made aware of this oversight by now. If they haven't, then I'll give them a call tomorrow. I did that for the new Windows Messenger bug. Oh yeah - I mentioned it that particular problem the other day.
Anyway, I played the "I'm a TV show host" card to cut through most of the red tape. Within a few hours, I had received confirmation that they were aware of the error and would issue a fix at some point in the future. As to when, precisely, is still anybody's guess. I'm gonna have to play up that position more often, I suppose. I feel like a Jedi Knight or something."
