A Dual-Sim version of what is believed to be the Nokia Lumia 530 has passed FCC certification in Thailand. According to the report, the RM-1020 is the international version of the American Nokia RM-1018 device which is expected to be publically announced as the Nokia Lumia 530 in the near future.
The FCC certification shown on the image below not only mentions that the device is heading to Thailand, but also to Australia. The label also shows off two IMEI numbers which means it is to ship as a Dual-Sim, Dual-Active handset, becoming Nokia’s second device to do so.
The Nokia Lumia 530 is expected to have a 4.3-inch display, though will once again have no front-facing camera just like the Lumia 520 it is replacing. According to the FCC, it will also measure in at 119.7 x 62.3mm, around the same size as the Nokia Lumia 520.
Previous reports have suggested that the Nokia Lumia 530 will run Windows Phone 8.1 as standard, have a display resolution of 800x480, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and have an Adreno 305 Graphics chip.
Dual-Sim phones like the Nokia Lumia 530 have become increasingly popular in the past few years among businesses thanks to improved network coverage and lower costs.
