Microsoft Teams featured on ABC's Good Morning America

Microsoft is going all out to promote its latest addition to the Office 365 suite, Teams. Its latest attempt to raise awareness about the service involved a segment on ABC News' popular program, Good Morning America. A segment dedicated to businesses called "Boosting Your Business" sponsored by the Redmond corporation highlighted, among other things, its team collaboration tool as a seamless solution to team communication problems.

The segment can be seen below:

The segment highlighted several tips and tricks for businesses employing WeWork, the shared–office space startup, as a demonstration. In the TV spot, a career expert visits the company explaining to an executive how to better manage teams. Microsoft highlighted the event:

On March 15, Good Morning America brought in Maxie McCoy, a career expert, to give tips and tricks to help businesses across the country be more productive and collaborative. To demonstrate some of these tips, Maxie visited WeWork, the hugely successful shared–office space startup, and talked about how the WeWork Creator Awards team can work together in a new way using Microsoft Teams, a new chat-based workspace in Office 365.

The team-management tips included having a clear vision, defining roles of each member of the team, and collaboration, which unsurprisingly featured Microsoft Teams. The productivity service, which is being used by over 50,000 organizations, was launched yesterday in 181 countries for commercial Office 365 subscribers.
